HOURS OF OPERATION:
- 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday)
- also the last Saturday of the month 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (March – November)
COVERED LOADS:
- ALL loads must be tarped or in an enclosed trailer.
- Loads that are not tarped or in an enclosed trailer will be refused / turned away.
WIND POLICY:
- When the wind speed reaches 30 mph or greater, the Landfill might close.
- Please call ahead before coming to the Landfill.
FEES:
- Basic charge: $52.00 per ton
- $15.00 minimum charge for loads up to 577 lbs.
- Effective 7/1/2020, Basic charge will be $55.00 per ton. The extra fees are to help out the recycling facility in Hardin County, Iowa.
ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED:
- The Landfill does not accept any free liquids, machinery, dead animals, metal wire, hazardous waste, steel cable, flexible augers, large chunks of rubble, trees, or branches.
COMPOSTING:
- The Landfill does not accept any trees, large chunks of wood, or branches, but does accept leaves, yard and garden waste for the Yard Waste program.
